Uma Karuna Thurman was an American actress who is best known for playing 'Mia' Wallace"in the dark-comedy film "Pulpfiction." The role she played in the film earned her the status of one of Hollywood's top stars. The actress is a true professional and doesn't care about losing her shiny image. Her role as a devout Christian in the "Kill Bill" movie series won her awards and praise. She was born into an unconventional family, with an Indian-sounding name. The lanky girl, who was mocked because of her huge feet and angular body as she got older, had a slender frame. While she is now famous for her beautiful looks she was a bit shy and self-conscious about her appearance. While in high school she found pleasure in acting and was active in it.
