Dina is originally from Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she changed her location into Dix Hills on Long Island just before she finished her senior year. There are two of her siblings: one of whom is older, named Gregory and a younger one called Evan. She began her career in entertainment when she was nine and was modeling. Ron Stetson trained her in the methods of acting taught by Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse. This took about three years. The other actors who received such training are Sandra Bullock, Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum, Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton, as well as other actors. When she moved from Los Angeles, she got her first lead role in Beverly Hills,90210. The first film she appeared in was Johnny Mnemonic. She did every stunt in this film, which helped establish her as an athletic as well as an actress. Her agent also manages Matt LeBlanc she scored a part as a guest on Friends.
